Another recent craft is this wreath I made with corks from wine bottles. I guess I need to start drinking more wine. I've already had a couple requests from friends for me to make them one of the wreaths.

Amish Country
Each year my father and I take a trip to Amish Country in Northeast Ohio. Not only is this trip an excellent time for father/daughter bonding, but we go to the Smucker's Company Stockholder meeting.
One of my favorite excursions of this trip is visiting the small country store in Berlin, Ohio. I love going to this store because I take my list of spices and I buy them much cheaper than in the grocery store. Another favorite in this store is oats for making cookies and granola. I also buy a rice called "Hatian Rice". I have yet to find a recipe, but this rice is so tastey with long grain rice, black beans, cloves and other spices.
Another must have is the Amish cheese. You can't beat $2.99 a pound for Swiss, Cheddar Jack, pepperoni and pepper jack.
While in Amish Country I saw the cutest old lantern that had Christmas lights in it. I decided, "I can make on of those" but I decided to put my own twist on it. Instead of Christmas lights, i added a small light attachment and put in a flicker candle light bulb.
